Could your club board benefit from a different perspective? Sign up to the SD INED scheme

SD are on the hunt for sports clubs who are open to new skills, expertise and views on their Board by joining the SD Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) scheme.

INEDs can bring skills, specialisms and expertise to the Board, and their outside perspective helps to balance the views of other directors, and the interests of other key stakeholders (i.e. shareholders, members and fans).

We have a growing database of skilled people keen to volunteer and help on club boards and would like to hear from clubs interested in taking part. We will match individuals who have signed up based on a range of factors such as experience, geographic location, time available and skills they can offer.

There is no obligation on the part of either the individual or the club to accept what we think is a good match, but to be considered both clubs and individuals need to register interest by filling out an application form which can be downloaded here.

You'll also find a host of FAQs but if you still have questions, please contact Richard Irving at richard.irving@supporters-direct.org
